What have I learned from writing every day.

Day 9 of NaBloPoMo

The daily prompt for today was writing about 10 years into the future. At 68 I am just thankful to be in the NOW which is all any of us have after all. When I worked some bosses would suggest you write your 5 and 10 year goals. I guess this is a good thing. So I will say that my goal for 10 years at this time would be to still live here alone and be able to enjoy my children and grandchildren and for all to be healthy and happy.

Anyway – I have learned a few things from my 9 days of committed writing. For one thing it is sometimes difficult to think of what to write. For another when you look at the continuum you realize how quickly things can change – my life being somewhat different now than I thought it would be 10 days or even 5 days ago. But that is a story for another day.

The commitment and continuity however are comforting and give me a reason to be – aside from my pleasure at reading all the other great bloggers I have found our there!
